Territorial cooperation

European territorial cooperation is the instrument of cohesion policy aimed at solving cross-border problems and jointly developing the potential of the various territories. Cooperation actions are supported by the European Regional Development Fund through three main components: cross-border cooperation, transnational cooperation and interregional cooperation.

INGENIA 2

A program to improve the competitiveness of SMEs by fostering the conditions for their internationalization. Its general objective is to boost and support high value-added sectors in the Canary Islands and partner territories of the cooperation area.

CUSTOMS

A program to foster the growth of trade flows between the different regions of the cooperation area by increasing trade promotion and improving the efficiency of the common and non-common customs system of the cooperation area.

SMARTBLUEF

A program designed to strengthen territorial cooperation in the blue economy through governance processes, fostering innovation, diversification and smart specialization of blue economy SMEs and increasing their international presence.

DIGIMAC (DigiMac2020)

A program to promote SMEs from Macaronesian regions in international digital markets with the objective of improving their capacity for growth in regional, national and international markets and in innovation processes.
